On occasion, the best solution for a client requires litigation. Increasingly, lenders and borrowers are resorting to courts to resolve their disputes. Although not a collection firm, sometimes TTLG will pursue a collection matter for a creditor, or defend a debtor client in a collection action. We maintain close relationships with several litigation boutiques for those cases where complex litigation is required, but we do not shy away from litigation where it is in our clients’ best interest.
Our representation of landlords in the bankruptcy setting has expanded to occasionally include more general representation of commercial landlords in disputes with tenants. We have represented landlords in preference defense actions, unlawful detainers, receiverships, and other disputes.
